summer tip for teachers #1: Constructing Modern Knowledge
Related to country: United States

Sitting here in New York City, where it's only the second week of June and already almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the thought of a getaway in New Hampshire at the end of July is delightful. Even better, add in the lineup of faculty, workshops, and informal networking events on slate for the Constructing Modern Knowledge institute - a professional development opportunity for teachers who want to build their technology-enabled, project-based learning skills.

What really strikes me about the unique potential of this event is this sentence from its website: "the agenda will be shaped by the community." There is a rich list of potential topics, all of which have clear applications for global educators, so if you're looking for an opportunity not only to gain new networks, ideas, and skills, but also to share your own, and even just the precious time and space to flex your creative side as an educator, consider a trip to Manchester for Constructing Modern Knowledge, which is sponsored by our friends at the Constructivist Consortium and the Anytime Anywhere Learning Foundation.
